Project horror is a survival horror video game developed by Darren Mc Elrroy Derek & Micko, Project horror is played from a first-person perspective The main character, Unnamed, is incapable of combat,Since much of the map is dark, the player must use a flashlight to see. Using the flashlight consumes batteries, for which replacements are scattered across the environment.
Project horror is a game made to scare you and make you feel a bit unnerved inside, it is set at the edge of a forest near a graveyard, already the setting itself is unnerving, so I think we are on the right track. Most horror games use empathy as the emotion of choice so that the player feels for the hero, and will fear for the characters' safety. But other kinds of emotional relationships can be used to create more opportunities to unsettle the player
At the moment in our game I feel that there is something missing, more is needed to create more of a sense of horror, the atmosphere in the game needs to have more depth to it, like sound that are powerfully unnerving even on there own so that we can mix together the style and sound in a way that we are looking for.
Project horror is bringing what we what from it we have a long way to go but we are on the right track for bringing it.
With looking closely at other horror game we can see where we need to go and how best to develop this game, looking at lighting, sound game mechanics and player interface we can help make more of a original natural horror game with some small influences from the professionals.
But at the moment we are looking more like a project walk in the park than project horror, but with more time to work on the project and more people to help in the development of the game we can reach the targets we have set out for ourselves in the brief
With some small research we can see that this is the main thing that everyone has said about our game and we can now take this on board and start to implement it.
so overall what we need to do is identify our strengths and weaknesses work on the development of of the game and implement new game mechanics so the we can elaborate on the concept and see this title grow in the future.
I am working on the atmosfear and trying to bring to the player that sense of being scared so we can call this project a success

if working on a project like this again I would have to use this experience I have gathered on this project and allocate on time to concept and early stage development.
Now more effort is needed to plan out the game for its future development work on concept mod boards and narrative is needed all this will help us to define are game and add our own stamp on this genera.
